Service Experiences
Service should connect teaching and research in ways that inspire and promote success for students and families. My volunteer work in various organizations such as AERA, ICPEL, ASCD, and TCPEA has presented me with leadership opportunities to further the mission of the group, as well as, learn and mentor other current and future scholars. I serve as a board member of various organizations and support leadership journals as an editor and reviewer. For ICPEL, I am the coordinator of the career mentoring project and social justice initiative, Mentoring Mosaic, and the Committee for Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI). My service, research, and scholarship are devoted to helping current and aspiring leaders create better communities for every learner.
